FANTASIE : deliverable 23 : options to support the introduction of new technologies and their implications on transport policy

This report gives a selection of technologies that are expected to be or to become important for the goals of the European Common Transport Policy. The innovation process that has to lead to the deployment of these technologies, requires a certain role to be played by national gevernments and the European Union. The report describes various barriers for the innovation process and gives recommendations for national and European policy makers to avoid these barriers and promote the introduction of new technologies and transport system to reach a sustainable mobility in Europe.
