Evaluation of the dissipated energy concept for the interpretation of fatigue measurements in the crack initiation phase
The main target of this fatigue project on asphalt concrete was to validate the hypothesis that the dissipated energy per period is the relevant parameter in the fatigue process instead of the maximum strain or stress amplitude.
