Describes the sediment contamination studies related to the environmental impact monitoring program of offshore drilling activities at the Dutch continental shelf in 1994, and compares the results with those from earlier surveys. The activities were focused on the long-term environmental impact following discharge of oil based mud (OBM) cuttings at location L-4-a.
