The FREIA project

The FREIA project focuses on the improvement of commercial options and possibilities of transport SME's (Small and Medium sized Enterprises) in the intermodal transport market, and on the improvement of the accessibility of European intermodal freight villages and their related networks for transport SME's. It defines a freight village as a single large site which includes a terminal, other technical and administrative facilities associated with combined transport and accommodation for companies engaged on combined transport.
