Structural design procedure for road structures with unbound granular bases and subbases
In this paper first the principles of the pavement design in the Netherlands and the role of the unbound granular layers are discussed. Next, the modifications which have been applied to the material characterizations and the mechanistic calculations procedure are described. The paper ends with brief review of the series of full scale test pavement.
