Aquatic outlook : measurement, research, policy

In order to enable water authorities and policymakers of the national and regional water systems to make well founded decisions, the Department of Public Works and Water Management (Rijkswaterstaat) has initiated the the Aquatic Outlook Project (WSV). The aim is to obtain an insight into the biological and chemical, physical and economic values of the Dutch water systems as they relate to possible scenarios and policy plans. The project offers a technical-scientific basis for policy preparation as part of an integrated water management plan.
