Rivers : flow resistance and bedform dimensions for varying flow conditions dune-flat bed transition (Froude -1) and vice versa : report on investigations
The purpose of the experiments was to obtain sufficient information about the changing resistance to flow in an alluvial river under varying flow conditions, to be able to draw conclusions about the relative importance of this phenomena to peak flood levels. The present report R 657-XXVI deals with the test results of Series 4. Test results of Series 1, 2 and 3 are presented in Rports R 657- XXIII, R 657-XXIV and R 657-XXV.
