The microscopic traffic simulation model MIXIC 1.3
MIXIC (MICroscopic model for Simulation of Intelligent Cruise control) is a microscopic traffic simulation model suitable for the assessment of the impacts of modern telematic technologies in traffic. By means of computer simulation, the consequences for safety, exhaust-gas emission, noise emission, and traffic performance will be weighed in an integrated manner. The overall structure of the model MIXIC 1.3 is described, followed by the driver and vehicle models. A model for autonomous intelligent cruise control (AICC) is specified. Finally, the implementation and calibration of MIXIC 1.3 are given and current status and future developments presented.
