Gdansk bay water quality : data collection and data analysis : project note

In the scope of 'Water and Sediment Pollution Study of Gdansk Gulf' data was collected on sediment quality. The collected dataset does not fulfil all requirements (for example data on the eastern part of the bay is not available). Limited problems will arise from this regarding eutrophication. However, the calibration of the toxic substances model for 1991 is impossible at present. Recommendations are given concerning additional measurements, availibility of public data and monitoring the Puck Bay area with the same frequency as other parts of Gdansk Bay.
