Establishment of a population of the spionid worm Marenzelleria in the Ems estuary (the Netherlands, Fed. Rep. of Germany)

In the Dutch Wadden Sea intertidal macrozoobenthos is being sampled by the Tidal Waters Division three times a year at a number of fixed locations distributed over 5 localities. This sampling program is carried out to provide the opportunity to discriminate between local man-made disturbances and changes due to variation in the natural abiotic environment. The work is being coordinated within the COST- 647 program of the European Community.
