The Netherlands Transport Plan : road safety with a special focus to speed adaptation : paper presented to the congress "Intelligent Speed Adaptation" in Nagoya, 20 May 2002

In order to stimulate road safety, the Dutch government gives an impulse to the development and application of the on-board computer and the driving behaviour data recorder (black box). The accent lies on the commercial market, especially freight transport, with the objectives of realizing logistic advantages and contributing to safer driving (and speed) behaviour.
