Management of closed-off tidal basins : 75th anniversary of the Enclosing Dam (Afsluitdijk) in 2007
At the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the closing of the Zuiderzee in the Netherlands by means of an enclosure dam - the Afsluitdijk - an expert meeting on the Management of closed-off tidal basins was held on 9-11 Oct. 2007. The purpose of this meeting was to share experiences, developments and expectations with water managers of closed-off tidal basins from several parts of the world.
