Assessment of primary flood defences in the Netherlands : national report on 2006

The flood defences act requires that those managing the primary flood defences test every five years whether the dikes, dunes and hydraulic structures such as sluices and closable orifices in a dike, meet the statutary safety requirements. This report summarises and explains the results of the second assessment. The results were also compared with the results of the first assessment.
