Review of the South-African system for roadworthiness : proposal for the project

In this project RDW, CL and NEA will make a review of the existing system for roadworthiness in South Africa. The review will take place at three interacting levels: -Legislation; -Institutions; and -Organisaztion. The main aim of this project is to present five major improvements to ensure road safety from the point of view of vehicle technology. These 5 major improvements will address a mixture of juridical, institutional and organisational issues.
