Investigation of the consequences of constructing a fresh-water reservoir in the Yssel lake on the safety of the polder dikes and the drainage conditions in the lake
In order to meet with the increasing demands for fresh-water drinking purpose in the western part of the Netherlands it has been proposed to construct a fresh-water reservoir inside the Yssel lake. Such a reservoir can be filled during the high floods when the river water is of a good qualkity and released in the periods of drought.
