Empirical relationships for tidal inlets, basins and deltas
A study of available literature on the subject of empirical relationships concerning ebb tidal deltas, tidal inlets, tidal channels and tidal flats has been carried out. These relationships can possibly be used to predict future changes of the tidal flats and tidal channels of the Dutch Wadden Sea area, due to an increase of the rate of sea level rise.
