Policy analysis of water management for the Netherlands [ PAWN ] : Volume XVIII

The upper reaches of the Waal include some shallow stretches. Some of the PAWN tactics involve extracting water from the Waal near these locations. This causes an increase of sedimentation. To estimate the costs for tactics which involve extractions from the Waal, PAWN has built the Sedimentation Model, the Dredging Coast Model and Sedimentation Loss Function Model.
