Space-time consumption on the move

Contains the findings of a research project on an international comparision of space-time consumption patterns between several countries. The influence of time use, space use and transport systems is determined. Three theories are described as well as the results of the investigation in the United States (USA), United Kingdom (UK), Japan and Canada. These results are compared to the situation in the Netherlands. From these results some predictions are made for the future.
