Determining statistics of multivariate storm extremes off the coast of the Netherlands : a pilot study
This study is part ot the HYDRA program, to obtain the near-shore climate of wave and sea level extremes along the coast of the Netherlands, required to assess the safety of the coast. The HYDRA program concist of two major tasks: definition and estimation of statistics of sea level and wave extremes at -20 m contour ; transformation of these statistics to the near-shore zone.
