Yearplan 1996

The scientific cooperation in ecological research between the Romanian Danube Delta Biosphere Reserve Authority and Danube Delta Institute at one side, and the Dutch Institute for Inland Water Management and Waste Water Treatment (RWS, RIZA) at the other side will be continued during its fourth year of existence in 1996. Main topics are: - completion of the survey studies of the Danube Delta (soil maps and report; contributions to the Atlas of the Danube Delta Biosphere Reserve) - institutional help to the Romanian partners - research for ecological restoration works in wetlands - research concerning eutrophication processes and patterns in complex water systems.
