Development of the skimmer storage combi
The Skimmer Storage Combi (SSC) is a combination of an oil-skimmer and a separation and storage tank. This report deals with the development of this energyless skimmer, used for picking up oil-spills from the water surface. The principle of the skimming is explained and also the difficulties which had to be overwon are described.
