Traffic and roads : DRIVE integrated systems : project number V 1018 - TARDIS : TARDIS final report

TARDIS (Traffic And Roads - DRIVE Integrated Systems) advises on standardisation to make integration of RTI systems (Road Transport Informatics) possible. TARDIS has examined 7 functional requirements (dynamic route guidance, urban traffic control, parking management and information, fleet management and information, public transport management and information, automatic debiting, tourist information) of infrastructure-based RTI systems. To assist this TARDIS has adopted a General Systems Architecture. The functional analysis has been supported by the TARSIM simulation model, which simulates processing and communication within the RTI application.
