Directives for the measurements and layout of fixed and opening bridges over CEMT class I to IV waterways
Directives have been laid down for fixed and opening bridges. These are recorded in the following notes. The aim has not been confined to the principle dimensions such as width and height of access, but also to devote attention to the positioning of the opening, the profile above and below the water level, positioning of the bridge, its entrance structure and waiting areas, etc..
