Summary of the dutch government's stance on the Betuwe Route

Presents the Dutch governments point of view on the Betuweroute. The government is of the opinion that in the light of the inevitable increase in volume of goods, construction of the Betuweroute provides the only means of achieving a shift in such traffic from road to rail.
