ALBATROSS : a learning based transportation oriented simulation system

Modeling traffic patterns has since long been a central area of concern in transportation research. It is now realized that the focus on single-stop, single-purpose trips or even trip chains or tours is too narrow. ALBATROSS is an activity-based model aimed at predicting which activities are conducted where, when, for how long, with whom, the transport modes involved and ideally also the implied route decisions. This book describes the development of this model.
