A branched one-dimensional waterquality model
This report describes the branched 1D non-stationary waterquality model VEDWAM, developed by Rijkswaterstaat. It concerns a computer programme completed in 1980, for use on the UNIVAC. The model is to be used for calculating the (evolution of) distributions of salt and other conservative matter, (exponentially) decaying matter (such as active isotopes), biological oxygen demand and oxygen deficiency, and excess temperatures.
