An issue of substance : TBT in marine antifouling paints

This brochure discusses the presence of Tributyltin (TBT) in the marine environment, based on the situation in the Netherlands. It explains the main problems resulting from TBT contamination of sea water and illustrates them with examples. The brochure then goes on to discuss national and international policy issues before finally considering the alternatives which are currently available. It finally gives some relevant quotes illustrating the different points of view of the various parties involved.
