Available sediment data of the Dutch Wadden Sea : part I

Each chapter contains different aspects of the Wadden Sea sediments: morphology, sedimentation and sedimentary processes; geology, landreclamation areas, the origin of the sediments and the sand and shell exploitation; investigations concerning the relationship between de Wadden Sea sediments and the ecology; hydrography and the exchange of water and materials with the North Sea; ripple parameters, sediment transport, mineralogical and chemical composition of the sediment. Gives grainsize data in literature and sediment data available in archives of the Department of Public Works (Rijkswaterstaat) and the Geological Survey
