Helophytes : on the characteristics and applications in water and shore management

Presents the research about how and where helophytes can grow. Moreover, the possibilities for a management towards an optimal development of shore vegetation are discussed. It is because helophytes can grow on the border between water and land that water movement plays a key role in the organic and continued existence of helophyte vegetation. That is why special attention is paid to the influence of hydrology on helophytes.
