Waverecording on the IJsselmeer
Presents the preliminary results of waverecording on the IJselmeer. The measurements have been carried out with a floating waverecorder (accelerometer on raft). Wave heights and periods, windvelocity, fetch, depth, temperature of water and of the atmosphere and the siltcontent of the water have been determined. The results heve been compared with the diagrams of Thijsse and Bretschneider. The distribution of the wave heights is mencioned.
