Masterplan study report Sino-Dutch joint research on the Yangtze River Basin intermodal transport project

Presents a Masterplan for intermodal transport, with general objective to establish a Yangtze River Basin international container intermodal transport network, composed of waterway, railway and highway, with the Yangtze River main stream as the main corridor. Describes the study on the regional economy and present situation of container transport, bottlenecks that restrict the development of container transport, a plan for economic development, and a forecast of transport volume. Gives concrete measures and suggestions for the implementation of the Masterplan.
