Control procedures : good laboratory practice and quality assurance
Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) is one of the manifestations of the increased attention quality control measures in general have acquired. It poses a framework aimed to bring the quality of laboratory results in accordance with predefined standards and to maintain the quality at this level. The need for such a framework arises from important economical, political, and scientific implications laboratory studies may have, posing demands on the reliability and comparability of the results.
