Analysis of current information and future research requirements needed to assess the likely birdstrike risk to aircraft operating from an offshore airport in the North Sea

Analyses the further research and data collection requirments that are needed to evaluate the birdstrike risk to aircraft at an island airport off the Dutch coast. Examines the available data and research questions and identifies the information that is needed and how it can be obtained as well as suggesting possible approaches to estimating the likely birdstrike risk at the new airport once the necessary data are available.
