Comparison of three methods to obtain directional wave spectra
An intercomparison has been made of the results of three methods to obtain directional wave spectra, one method using the measurements of three orthogonal subsurface velocity components and two methods using the measurements of the surface elevations at three positions: the slope array method and the space array method. The limitations of the different methods are determined mathematically and compared with the results of the measurements.
