Erosion and deposition characteristics of natural muds : sediments from the Biesbosch (Spijkerboor)
A sediment sample from the Biesbosch (location: Spijkerboor) is investigated with respect to its behaviour on deposition and erosion. An annular flume is used to quantify the parameters governing these processes. Parallel to these tests various physico-chemical properties of the sediment are determined.
