Environmental conditions and natural vegetation change in the Volga Delta, Russia : ecohydrological research 1995
This ecohydrological research studies the relations between natural and semi-natural vegetation and environmental factors like soil, groundwater, surface water and salinity. The research aims at increasing the knowledge about complex environmental processes governing vegetation development in the Volga delta. The obtained knowledge will be used to establish environment-vegetation relations and environmental threshold values for evaluation purposes.
