A novel protocol for the analysis of microplastics in marine sediments: Method review

In this report, a draft extracted method of the Rijkswaterstaat laboratory for marine sediments is tested by the Rijkswaterstaat laboratory (sampling and extraction) and FTIR analysis (Wageningen University). This report shows among others that blanc contamination is a problem, that must be controlled as well as possible using clean (plastic free) working conditions.
